Developed by Tina Patel Gunaldo, PhD, DPT, MHS, physical therapist, textbook author, and interprofessional education researcher with 15 years in the field. Courses are grounded in evidence-based interprofessional education frameworks and designed for real healthcare environments, not generic team training.
These courses are designed for practicing healthcare professionals, health system leaders, and interprofessional educators who want evidence-informed frameworks they can apply immediately in their organizations and teaching.
Most healthcare professionals use the terms multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and interprofessional interchangeably, but these are not the same thing. Each describes a fundamentally different level of integration, shared decision-making, and patient engagement. This course gives you the precise language and conceptual framework to identify what kind of team you are currently leading, what kind you are trying to build, and what the next level of integration would actually require. Grounded in evidence-based interprofessional education frameworks and applicable across all healthcare settings and professions.
Format: Online, self-paced
Audience: Healthcare professionals, department leaders, and interprofessional educators

Interprofessional education courses provide self-paced or structured learning experiences that build foundational knowledge and frameworks. Individual consulting sessions provide personalized, applied support for designing specific cross-department collaboration initiatives and building visible system-level impact. Many clients use both, starting with a course to build the framework and then working with Tina directly to apply it in their specific environment.
