Understanding Healthcare Team Models: Multidisciplinary, Interdisciplinary, and Interprofessional

Virtual Interprofessional Education Collaborative (VIPE)

A free, global virtual learning space developed through Yale University that brings health professions students together from multiple universities to learn about, from, and with each other. Students work in interprofessional teams with faculty facilitators, engaging in case-based simulations across a range of care settings. Grounded in WHO definitions of interprofessional education and the IPEC Core Competencies. Recommended for faculty designing interprofessional education experiences and students seeking structured interprofessional learning outside of their own institution.
