Hi! I'm Tina Patel Gunaldo

In 2011, a dear friend of mine gave me the opportunity to support her and her husband in his medical journey, and my life (personal and professional) changed forever. At that point in time, I was very lucky in that I was healthy and so were most of my friends and family. However, my friend's husband had a chronic progressive debilitating disease, and it was through this lived experience where I learned about the gaps we have in our health system related to collaboration and communication.

Fast forward to today, I have used my lived experiences, education and career to learn more about, research and implement best interprofessional practices. My mission is to empower patients, healthcare providers, and administrators to work seamlessly together, fostering a culture of effective communication and collaboration. Join me on this journey towards a healthier, more cohesive healthcare system.
